Iowa State University and DMACC will host a summit to discuss updates to cybersecurity education and educational pathways with key Iowa stakeholders. ISU and DMACC need your input on January 6th, 2022 at DMACC in Ankeny. A virtual option of attendance is also available.

ESTABLISH NEW EDUCATIONAL PATHWAYS
Discuss recent updates to cybersecurity education pathways— from high school graduate to PhD
DISCUSS THREE-YEAR STACKABLE CREDENTIAL
Identify pathway for military personnel to build on their Joint Services Transcript to earn a three- year stackable credential: earn an AAS (2 year) and transfer to ISU for a 1-year certificate in cybersecurity
IDENTIFY GAPS
Determine additional gaps in educational pathways and how they can be filled
ESTABLISH A PLAN
Develop a road map to implementation and roll out of the pathways
DISCUSS SHARING
Develop a plan to share best practices, courses, and labs.
